The main aim of this research theme is to understand the development, use, and effects of communication processes within organizations. Organizations have to continually adapt to their surroundings, with respect to, for example, the aging workforce, work-life issues, globalization (e.g., diversity), advancements in communication technologies, and the possibilities of social media. Organizational communication plays a key role in realizing this and achieving the intended objectives of an organization.
