Jeroen Jonkman is researcher at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research and lecturer in Communication Science at the College of Communication and the Graduate School of Communication at the University of Amsterdam. Currently, he works on a project with Prof. dr. Rens Vliegenthart concerning the content, causes, and consequences of economic media coverage in times of economic crisis. This project involves a large-scale content analysis of economic news and parliamentary data, and a three-wave panel survey. In addition, his research is focused on the relationship between large corporate actors and the media, and organizational issues and issue networks.
