Anna Berbers is a lecturer at the Corporate Communication department. After completing her Research Master in Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam, she obtained a PhD from the Institute for Media Studies at the University of Leuven in Belgium. Her thesis considers the implications of news media portrayal and reception of Moroccan minorities for identification processes and personal social networks in Belgium and the Netherlands. Her research interests range from minority media representation, identification to social networks and diversity in corporate context. She currently teaches Corporate Communication, as well as several method courses and the bachelor thesis project.
